MA in International Development Studies and Management from Roskilde University. She is the former director of the Danish House in Palestine. Started her career at UNDP in Jerusalem, followed by 17 years at the Danish Refugee Council, where she worked with refugees and internally displaced persons in the Caucasus, Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, with a particular focus on the war in Syria.

BA in International Business Communication from the University of Southern Denmark. Former project coordinator at the Danish House in Palestine and two-time champion of Denmark in boxing. Former member of an advisory board under the Danish Ministry of Culture.

Meriam is a highly accomplished professional with an extensive educational background. She obtained a master's degree in finance and strategic management from Copenhagen Business School. Currently, she contributes her expertise to The Footprint Firm, where she specializes in sustainability advisory and investments. Prior to her current role, Meriam dedicated over a decade to Deloitte Consulting Denmark, excelling in various areas such as strategy and implementation, strategic communication, and leadership.

Beyond her impressive career, Meriam has a deep personal connection to the Palestinian cause. Being of half Palestinian heritage, she has been actively engaged in advocating for Palestinian rights from a young age

MA in Global Refugees Studies from Aalborg University. After her internship as Communication and Project- intern at DHIP, she wrote her Master Thesis about the NGO sector in Palestine. She is currently enrolled at Copenhagen University at Interreligious Islamic studies’ Master program where she is specializing within the field of Islam and Gender perspectives.

Julie holds a master’s degree in Gender and Development Studies and a BA in English Literature with a translation diploma from Birzeit University. Has been working for more than ten years with an International organization with an extensive experience in project management, focusing on rule of law, youth and women in Palestine.

Sahar is a highly qualified professional who earned a Master's degree in International Studies from Birzeit University. Presently, she plays a pivotal role at GIZ Palestine, where she is dedicated to empowering civil society. Specifically, she focuses on the crucial "Leave No One Behind" component, emphasizing the needs and rights of youth, women, and individuals with disabilities.

Prior to her current position, Sahar made valuable contributions at the Danish House for nearly six years. There, she excelled in project management, leading initiatives centered around resilience, empowerment, civic engagement, and creative citizenship. Her expertise and dedication have consistently made a positive impact in these areas.
